Interesting. I was kind of hoping we would run a Missouri-like spread(as much as I hate to say it) to begin with. It's really fun to watch and I think it can work at a high level. I just remember Chase Daniel ripping us a new one and thinking "Someday we'll have an offense like that, right?"
If you watched any Missouri football at all last year, you know that it's possible to run effectively with their style of offense as well as pass. I don't think it plays to either QB more than another. As always, it comes down to execution. |

Really rooting for Heitz. Small town farm kid that works hard. If he continues to progress like he should, Heitz will have a great career as an ILLINI and be in the NFL.
Sorry to sound like TheKid!

If we are able to win 8 or 9 games this year, Jon Davis will undoubtedly have a huge role in it. He may very well lead the team in number of catches this year.

Robert hinted that the top of his list will probably be all defensive guys.
I'm guessing the top 5 are: 5) Brown 4) Spence 3) Hawthorne 2) Scheelhaase 1) Buchanan Though it was tough for me not to put Nate #1. |
