Interesting. I was kind of hoping we would run a Missouri-like spread(as much as I hate to say it) to begin with. It's really fun to watch and I think it can work at a high level. I just remember Chase Daniel ripping us a new one and thinking "Someday we'll have an offense like that, right?"

If you watched any Missouri football at all last year, you know that it's possible to run effectively with their style of offense as well as pass. I don't think it plays to either QB more than another. As always, it comes down to execution.

Based upon what I've seen of Toledo under Beckman, I don't think we will run the Missouri offense. Look for more of a run-oriented spread offense. That would also better fit our personnel given our lack of WR.

Really rooting for Heitz. Small town farm kid that works hard. If he continues to progress like he should, Heitz will have a great career as an ILLINI and be in the NFL.

Sorry to sound like TheKid!

The Kid would be predicting Outland Trophies.

If we are able to win 8 or 9 games this year, Jon Davis will undoubtedly have a huge role in it. He may very well lead the team in number of catches this year.

I thought he played pretty good for a true frosh. from a small town. I'm hoping he does well as any ILLINI fan.

Robert hinted that the top of his list will probably be all defensive guys.

I'm guessing the top 5 are:
5) Brown
4) Spence
3) Hawthorne
2) Scheelhaase
1) Buchanan

Though it was tough for me not to put Nate #1.
