Yup. Not a good sign.

Maybe it's a good thing we might be playing in the rain against WMU

I actually like this OL better than any of the combinations they used in camp. I really like Hill and Karras at guard and I actually think we have our 5 best OL on the field now.

The pronunciation guide is interesting. I had no idea that Flavin was pronounced FLAH-vin.

The pronunciation in my head had me imagining this:

Ha! Sounds like Feldmeyer will play. Wondering if we'll slide Pocic back out or keep him at center?

Funny you bring that up I was messing around on Twitter yesterday and saw that Bentley tweeted something like, "prayers with my lil bro Devin Church today"

So I'm wondering if he had surgery of some sort?

Yeah I think he was in a green shirt the other day too. Maybe a redshirt candidate.

Beckman: "IT'S BEEN 8 MONTHS AND WE'RE REALLY EXCITED"

Quote:
#illini Beckman: OL depth chart could change in last few days. Mentions Karras came back well from foot injury.

Beckman: Feldmeyer is "95 percent," dinged up his shoulder/arm a bit

Beckman: Sanni + Hull will be a "weekly deal" health-wise. Beckman won't announce anything until gametime. Will practice this week.

Beckman: Justin Staples is serving his one-game suspension vs. Western Michigan. Will not play.

From the press conference, sounds like Simon Cvijanovic is suspended. No reason given. Just "he will not be playing in this football game."

Some sort of injury I think. Some other people also tweeted at him that they hoped would recover quickly and stuff. He was probably bound for a redshirt anyway.

Beckman also mentioned Terry Hawthorne as a kick returner instead of Jack Ramsey, don't know if he just mispoke or if they plan to have him back there.

OL Simon Cvijanovic will not play this weekend, per coach Tim Beckman. Would not disclose why. He's been practicing, so not injury related.

Tommy Davis will be the punt returner, Beckman said. Josh Ferguson, Terry Hawthorne and Justin Green to rotate at kick returner.

I would love to see Beckman running down the sideline as someone races for a long touchdown then chest bumping them as they come off. Love the enthusiasm!!

Also, I would guess if Hull/Sanni practice this week they will play.
