Crazy the O/U was like 48.5 this week. I don't see it, but Vegas is usually pretty close.

#Illini had a walkthrough in the Marriott parking lot earlier. Needed to stretch the legs a bit with a late game. http://twitpic.com/asimaq

I heard it got as high as 50. They had no way to know what the QB situation is.

Unless the wheels totally fall off for us tonight, under 50 is free money now.

I'm sure the coaching staffs know the strengths of each and are much better positioned to call the plays needed to maximize the positives of these differences.

I don't value the strong opinions of posters with <20 posts about ROT's dominance over Nate. Makes me think it's the same guy in a basement going nuts with his new, cool smartphone.
You are misreading the discussion I think. I haven't seen anyone claim that ROT is better than Nate. The question is ROT vs. Miles Osei. I am pretty sure everyone would prefer to see Nathan on the field except the ASU defensive coordinator.

they have no idea where the total points socred is going to end up they just know where to set it so that equal money gets bet on both sides

Yeah I know. You'd have to be crazy to take the over, though. Seems like easy money.

I have faith in both of our backups to get this one done. I think our defense can win this one, all we need is a couple big plays on offense.

Yeah, but there's not going to be much square money on a random over-under between two unranked teams.

The "Vegas only puts the line where they'll get equal money" adage is incredibly overused, and not even true in many cases.

Supinie tweeted that it was cloudy and not too hot in Tempe today, said its perfect football weather. So that's a plus I guess

Hey guys right now it sounds like NS is probably not going to play for the Illini, tough break.

I enjoyed conversing with you all this week. Enjoy the game, and regardless of the outcome I will be rooting for you the rest of the year.

Thanks 99Devil. I root for the local team as well, except for today that is!

It is currently 86 degrees, should be in the low 80's by game time. We are getting such a huge break with this weather. It's a non factor. And I'll be much more comfy sitting in the stands, yay

So, does anyone know the official status, or if it will be announced before the game?

Nothing official, but Scheelhaase is probably out.

ASU now a 6-pt favorite.

Holy crap guys I was in Indy the last two days and did a 21 mile bike tour this morning into early afternoon. Now we are home but I hate to say it but I don't know if I can stay up for this game!

At Sun Devil Stadium. No word from team on Scheelhaase and no sighting yet during early warmups. Osei on the field warming up now.

There were just a couple posts that inferred that ... but they were posters of no consequence so I don't know why I even commented.

With Nate out of course, I'd like to see the coaches let O'Toole fly the ball around the stadium a bit. I hope they don't go ultra-conservative just because a 2nd string guy is in there. Fact is he's a good downfield passer and it would be nice to see how good.
