Not true. Jackson seems like a bright kid who makes informed decisions. Why not hear Kansas out? Kansas won't go after him hard until Barber is out of play. No need to panic if we don't get a verbal today.

Teams are allowed in home visits once a week from now until I think Oct. 6th. Head coach though can only make one of those. Do we know today is Groce's one? Still no change in my thinking that DJack to Illinois. |

Now that the football season is over, we'll all have lots of time to focus on basketball recruiting . . . .
![]() I doubt that we'll see any news today besides "great visit" or something like that. I wouldn't expect a commitment, but I don't think no commitment is necessarily bad news either. Seems like DJ is a kid who will go through the entire process. From all reports it sounds like he knows that he's being slow-played by KU, UK, and Lou. But he'll stay in play until those guys start landing their plan A targets. I just don't think there are enough of those Plan A targets to go around, and DJ will wind up with an offer from one or more of the above. We'll have to beat them out head to head, plus ND, and that's going to be tough. |

At anytime one of DJ's favorites could decide to make him plan 'A' depending on how bad they want a pg. Although those coaches may like another style of guard a little better for their system, they may not want to wait and possibly miss out on filling the position with a high quality target. Only self proclaimed gurus would tell you that Harrison, or Jones, or Barber, or DJ will be more successful than the others. Last edited by redriver; Sep 9, 2012 at 11:32 AM. Hearing Groce has an in-home visit with XRM on Wednesday. Can anyone verify this?

XRM is such a great player, in a 3 pt shooting team with the green
Light he could be big ten freshman of the year. |

NCAA would probably frown on Groce getting Deron to meet him in WV for the visit huh? Most of you probably remember that XRM has a real affinity for Deron and that seems to be what got him interested in UI originally. That and the Ibby connection.

And now a home visit with XRM - he or Nunn along with DJ, MH, and MM would be sick. |

No one, and I mean no one (with the possible exception of about 400 posters on this board) could have predicted this. So does this make it more or less likely that Parker will go to MSU? |
