Too bad, I wish Scheelhaase was able to play a few series tomorrow.

I'd rather make sure he's 100% for LTU and PSU.

Not that I'd disagree with you Dan.

I agree with you Dan; maybe just a couple of series, tell him to take it easy on the scrambling and call plays that don't require a lot of footwork, and then shut it down. I'd like him to get further down the season's road of familiarity with our receivers. Sounds like it would be too much of a risk for the ankle, which concerns me a bit. I'll also be concerned about rust in the LA tech game.

We still win of course, but now instead of 48-10, I'll say 34-10.

SOC - Charleston Southern

But I'm frightened it will be close. I'm frightened of that feeling where it's 7-3 in the second quarter and the whole stadium is uneasy. Because when Memorial Stadium gets uneasy, we're all about a half second from curling up in the fetal position.

^Funny, but in all seriousness, I am not worried at all about tomorrow's game. If I should be worried, just call the season.

How does a bigten team like Illini get to play Charleston Southern?

Looking at Charleston record they couldn't put a decent game against teams like Jacksonville College and Citadel college where they lost by 49-14, 31-10.

Will any BigTen teams play at this level or is it just Illini that has gotten to so low.

Fans of college football will know that any team in any conference will usually play one game against an FCS opponent.

Wonder if these injuries are actually something to keep an eye on, or are they just playing it extremely safe given the opponent?
