I texted Mav Morgan saying, "K. Nunn commits to the Illini, can't wait to see if D-Jax is next." His reply..."haha same here."

Nunn is just absolutely Huge for so many reasons. Great player. Chicago player. Simeon player.

It shows that the My State, My School pitch is a good one with top Chicago players (at least one). And--maybe most importantly--it shows that Groce is a beast.

This is gonna be fun....

They are thinking about plan B, Correction, as the insiders have stated, they have already known they needed to move on to plan B

I can't help but to feel simply in awe at how well Groce seems to relate to everyone around him. Now I don't want to make him out to be a saint quite yet, but if his coaching skills are even half as good as his people skills we are in for a treat!

Welcome, Kendrick and family. Have a great college career and enjoy your time at YOUR STATE school!

Well done to the staff and other players in helping convince Kendrick to come play for us. Not only is this an important commitment for the team, it is important for the image of the UofI basketball program in Chicago.

If Djack does commit, what would that entail for the last schollie? XRM or the pursuit of jabari.

No right? I clicked on the link too and that quote is not indicated in there? I wrote back asking if that is a direct quote from Melvin... no response yet.

Were not getting Parker, XRM possibly. Both? You dont turn down any of those two players, you find a way to get them on your team if they wanna be here.
