but in all seriousness, there's no doubt colbert fills a hole and has a spot in the staff's mind for a target in that class. With all the DJack & XRM hype, it's been quiet to most as to what's going on with Colbert's recruitment. Illinois has been very involved. With the visit this week and whispers I've heard, no reason to believe we won't be in top 2 or certainly 3 out of that group should he cut another school prior to his commitment. |

I didn't realize that Colbert had narrowed from 6 to 4 and Illinois is in the 4. It just seems to me that we as a fan base, get far too much of our info from other sources outside the Illinois reporting family.

so, just out of curiousity, have any of our insiders heard any rumors of any upcoming coaches' visits with any 2013 point guards aside from the one who is scheduled to visit us in October?

So hear's the deal. From Sturdy to numerous sources on this board, all day long it continues to go back and forth whether DJ picks us or ND. Evidently DJ is telling everyone what they want to hear or people are making things up. I'll go with the latter. And evidently Groce is going up either tonight or tomorrow to visit DJ so breakout the Flight Tracking Link.
I did just get a short email from my staff connection who told me about Nunn, etc. short and sweet. "Still confident that we land DJ". This is going to be a long 48 hours because I'm sure that it will continue to go back and forth. |

I thought it would be fun to make the '013 PG offer list. Clark, Perrantes, Powell, Smith, Peters, Ennis. Did I miss any?

Of course Rivals is a "big" company so I imagine he's networking with other Rivals guys too, particularly Baker the ND Rivals guy. |

I'm not going to read tea leaves on this, but regardless of what it means, this guy recruits like a boss.

Everyone who has twitter tweet DJay and ask him if he wants to borrow a hat for Thursday and post different pictures of Illinois hats. Let's get him retweet as many as we can!

Better idea: don't tweet at potential student athletes offering up merchandise for "borrowing."

+1 All we need is to win a recruiting battle, like the one we are having for DJ, and a decent season. Then over the next few years Groce and his staff will make history |

Like I said, I very very very highly doubt anything could come from twitter posts by some Illini fans.
Is there any record of that ever happening? Honest question. I haven't heard about it. |

How about...
Hat for Thursday? Got your hat picked out yet? Accessories for Thursday? Don't forget your hat for Thursday... Just some options |
