Want to follow up on Malcolm Hill. If he can get back to where he was, he could be special. The videos that showed his game a couple of years ago, he was known as mid-range and slashing. However, he started to add the 3 point shot to his game last year. He is aggressive and a great ball-handler. He is athletic, but not blow by fast. I think if he can keep honing his game, he could be something similar to a Joe-Johnson type (I am not saying he will be a good, but a similar game).
I do think he will the best player in this class and is the type of players you build around. Remember, before injury, most analysts were saying by far 2nd best player in state and he is under-rated (including Klee). Health and building up are the keys! |

My source says you should be banned if/when he picks the FSU hat.
But my source also says you should get a high five if he somehow ends up at IL. I've had enough "this guy is locked up!" posts to last the rest of my life. __________________ "The freight train is moving. Either jump on or get off." - John Groce |

I have found out that some locksmiths and deal breakers are on the guest list. I have been deciphering cryptic tweets but I'm having great difficulty. May have to fly to London to view the Rosetta Stone. Should be back shortly after 9:00 p.m. tomorrow with the answer.

I would honestly rather have Moore than Colbert. Colbert might be able to contribute more quickly, but I just don't know if he will make enough of an impact to play right away over what we will already have with Shaw, Henry, and Langford along with possibly playing a 4 guard lineup with Bertrand and Rice that year. If Moore can handle the ball, put on some weight and add a jumper to his athleticism, I feel he has much more potential. Hopefully, we get him.

It seems I have a different definition of "lock" and "done deal" than many posters on this site. This includes a few insiders whose info I do appreciate. However, I really think these phrases should be used much more sparingly.

I don't know. I haven't seen either play and it's difficult to tell much from either of their videos. It's not like the videos of Anthony Davis or Aaron Gordon ('13 kid from Oakland) or Ben Coupet where their athleticism and skills are just so manifestly top-notch. I'd be happy with either Moore or Colbert (or neither). XRM otoh, I'd love to get even though I know it's not likely. That kid is going to be a stud. |

XRM anticipation distracter... I thought I had seen somewhere that we have not offered Charles Matthews yet. Does anyone know if this is true? If so, why would we not be all over this kid?

The calm before the storm...on a side note, I get to hear my wife blab all day long about her Wolverines trouncing our Illini. Hmmm, could the day go any better? Maybe, just maybe...
My prediction today: XRM to pick a school with rich tribal symbolic history. It's a "lock" |

I like how Smith refers to Illinois as "us."
