A HUGE difference is that now we make adjustments to our game based on what works.

What a fun style of basketball to watch this season...Coach Groce has me jacked up enough to want to lace them up again! These kids are playing hard, playing loose, and playing without the fear of being yanked out of the game for the slightest mistake made during the game. Great foundation for the future of Illini Basketball!

Yeah so I think Coach Groce can throw away those plans for holding a pretend "wake" for Bruce Weber.

Congratulations to all; the really cool thing is that we were clearly the better team on the floor in all games, and in most phases.

Also Ca and Lyle were tweeting about the Illini. Hope this will help close some gaps. Team play was just amazing this week.

Abrams looks great at pg just saying

Wonder what Groce thinks of this trip now? It did wonders for this Illinois team in many ways.

Wow. When's the last time we've been on the ESPN homepage for something positive?

This team is different. The only thing the same is the name on the uniform.
Except for the Leonard to the NBA deal, confidence comes from Weber not coaching in his style. Let the kids play.

box score shows that Clark hit 6-13 threes ... the rest of the team was 1-15. That was the difference (at least one big one).

What the heck is wrong with ESPN Chicago? We aren't even mentioned anywhere on the page, yet we're on the front of ESPN. The guys that run the Chicago site are pathetic. Rest assured if Northwestern or Notre Dame won the Maui Tourney they would be on the page.

On another note, great tourney guys, this was awesome.

That was a GREAT win! Felt like we were playing 8 against 5 for much of the night, and they just fought through it. Says a lot about the mental toughness of this team right now.
