I know everyone will probably get all upset about this, but man, that Amy Kathleen needs to leave these kids alone. How many times can you tweet each recruit?

I'm sure they love the attention, but the whole adults tweeting constantly to 18 yr old kids is bizarre to me. And, I follow the kids too, so I'm obviously a tool as well, but tweeting directly to them just seems weird.

Maybe it's because I'm older, and didn't grow up in this age of instant communication, but I find it a bit creepy, too.

Per her profile, she is a 2 time Illini alum, played women's BB @ U of I and is a lawyer. You noticed the guy she's w/in her profile pic right?

Kids love the attention. If they didn't want it they wouldn't have twitter.

If you're over 35 you probably should just not voice an opinion on twitter period.

How old and how far removed are you from modern social networking for those of you who think it's "creepy"?

Do you remember being in H.S. ? Remember the popularity contest, reputation, attention-seeking?

Man if I was an athlete in H.S. at the age of 16 and fans were writing me, posting on my board, etc. I would be on top of the world.

How many times have we heard recruits say that certain fans bases showed them a lot of love and that was a big reason why they went there.

Things are still a bit tense here at CSU. Simeon coach Robert Smith came out of the locker room to make sure his family was ok.

No one talking to the press right now, not sure if that will change.

Can't be stressed enough that CPS security did a good job. When the incident flared up and then afterwards with the teams in locker area

I only saw a handful of police officers around.

Hearing that shots may have been fired outside. Simeon players not being allowed to leave the locker room.

Jaylon Tate played very well in my opinion. There was a great Illini connection on that Tate-Nunn alley-oop. And I hope Groce keeps on DJ Williams, he will be a player in a couple years
