The way I see it is Lyle wants to play point. I think OSU landing TJ only helps us with the Lyle recruitment. Landing Lyle would only improve our sell on physical cliff as well. Vice Versa

Trey lyles trimmed his list to 6 and u of I wasn't on it......not that we were pursuing him that hard anyways

Yeah, I'm not sure, as I never got to see Devin play live in h.s.
Watched a couple of videos of entire games though, and he looked good in h.s. both on the interior and oddly enough on the perimeter. He typically defended the low post, and then would play a SF on offense.

Desmond Lee, of New Mexico Junior College, saw some of his high major interest turn into offers last week. Illinois, Baylor and N.C. State all offered Lee last week after watching him multiple times over the last month. When I talked to Lee last he said he didn’t have any favorites yet and would make his decision after the season.

Pretty amazed that White and Austin are still as high as they are, and that Peak is as low as he is. Knowing whose ahead of him, I would move Peak into the Top 35, and have White and Austin in the 75-100 range.

White as all of the tools and an incredble skillset for his size, but he just has never shown the intensity or energy that I would want to see. He scares me because he regularly disappears for long stretches. But, so did Sam Thompson, so maybe its a product of playing in a system at WY that causes underclassmen to fall into a pattern of deferring to the upperclassmen a bit too much.

Austin has elite level athleticism, but I'm waiting to see more evidence that he has upgraded his ballhandling and perimeter shooting...if he does, then he could easily be a Top 50 player. If he doesn't, then he's limited to being a great run and jump athlete who can hound you on defense, but may not be able to be a consistent threat on the offensive end.

White seems like a great fit for a team like Syracuse.
They always seem to have a team full of long, athletic guys to play the 2-3 and take away passing lanes.

I like what I have seem of him highlights wise. If Groce thinks he fits, I'm all for him joining the team. An addition like him will make us much more competitive next year, and will give us potential to have a very strong year in 2014/15. Go get him Groce!

This post seems to have an IU slant to it. Anyway, it's a perfect example of why not to commit as a Freshman and why IU shouldn't have offered when he was a Freshman.

Finke will definitely break in this summer when all of the scouts get to see him play.

I thought Lee's offer was announced a few weeks ago. Landing him would fill a big hole in next years team. It's funny thst Shaw no longer gets any PT after his one big game. I still think we will see several transfers this spring.

I don't know how much watching scout has been doing. For some reason Paul White and Larry Austin stay put, and to be honest, neither is a Top 75 player.
