Beckman: Jonathan Brown will not play against Northwestern. Jon Davis practiced today.

Beckman: Ryan Lankford did not participate full in practice but was on the field

Beckman: Saturday was like "deja vu."

Beckman: practiced this morning. Usually have Mondays off. Says "the team up state" is "a very good football team."

Beckman: NW could be 11-0 "very easy." Was familiar with Fitzgerald before coming to Illinois.

Too bad JB won't be competing, we really need him in there, but at least he won't be "targeted" based on last year's game.
