Quite a few interesting games today

Duke v VCU . . . . . . . . . 6:00 pm
Kansas St. v scUM . . . . 3:30 pm
Wisconsin v Creighton . . 9:00 pm
Minny v Memphis . . . . . Noon
Iowa St. v Cincy . . . . . . 5:30 pm
Mizzou v Lou-a-ville . . . . 8:30 pm

and a scouting opportunity
Ga Tech v Cal . . . . . . . . . 11:00 am

Also a good scouting opportunity is Gonzaga hosting Oklahoma at 6:30. So that's at least six teams on our schedule playing decent opponents today: Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Georgia Tech, Gonzaga, and Missouri. Any others?

Like I want to sit through Ga. Tech and Cal.
No thanks.
Illinois will be ready and pound the bejesus out of them at the Hall.
That's the only GT game I plan on watching.

I don't often find myself rooting for UM but today I will. No one should be better prepared to stop the BW offense than a BIG.

I agree that UM is in a good position today given familiarity with the BW offense.

The last I looked, Vegas was only giving K State 4.5pts. You'd think with how good UM is projected to be coupled with the experience they have playing against Weber's offense would widen the margin.

Minnesota up by 6 early against a ranked Memphis on the road. I interested to see if the Gophers can hang with them for 40 mins.

Cuts both ways. BW knows their personnel pretty well.

Dunno how much Beilein knows about KSU's guys.

Watched a little bit of both GT and Gonzaga last night, neither was too impressive. Of course in the Clemson/Gonzaga game, neither side could make many shots, that's always going to make a team look worse than they are. They've got a lot of size, but our guards and quickness should be tough for them to handle.

Minnesota still leading Memphis. I'm reminded that Pastner was a hot candidate for the Illinois job. I wonder how many years his teams can under perform before Pastner loses his appeal.

Minny up by 7 with less than 30 seconds left. Should win.

I watched the last 15 mins or so of the game...really excellent post defense from what I saw. Shouldn't be a problem for Illinois, given how little we'll be relying on post offense.

Did I see the Minnesota was actually a 3 point favorite? Obviously a good call, since they won, but I found that a tad surprising.
