Hi Spine, I'm up here in the gray NW, too and also just a little nervous! We were back to see family in 2010 and were able to get tickets and saw the Illini give it away in the end.. Crossing my fingers for a better result today..we've had coal in our Illini stocking 3 years IN A ROW!

I have a feeling that our good 3-pt. shooting will return for this game with most everyone getting some looks. This, alone, may not be enough to take this game. If we can dictate pace and limit second chance points we should handle them. Their bigs will be a handful but we have been able to inhibit bigs in previous games. I trust that Groce will have a game plan to give us the best advantage.

My keys to the game from what I've read and seen so far. And I don't claim to be an expert.
-Since Mizzou doesn't force a lot of turnovers, we can't give away possessions. -Keeping them off the offensive glass
-Get to the free throw line
-Seniors need to step up, I can't remember the last time a class went 0-4 vs Mizzou
-Fast start, punch them in the mouth for the first 5 minutes of each half

I would love to see a 7 or 8 by our name come Monday, it's been too long. Should be a great game.
