I doubt it. I've been saying all along that Gonzo and Beckman have a good relationship. I couldn't imagine him being gone over beatty. I remember when he got hired, he said" When Beckamn asked me to join, it was a no brainer."

Although the talent wasn't really there on offense someone needed to take the heat for how awful it was. Makes sense that it was Beatty because he called majority of the plays. Glad we'll be bringing in someone who will be the sole OC.

Agree on having one OC. I understand the trend to the "co" coordinators, but I've never liked it. I don't know if this will fix anything, but worth a try.

Here is the deal from people in the know:

Beatty is out. Billy Gonzales gets co-OC title removed and will stay on staff as WR coach. A new OC will be hired that name I do not know.

Just told it will be a guy with EXPERIENCE. I think they have the guy from the way it sounds? I just don't know who?

There was a thought that he would really help open up some of the fertile VA. recruiting grounds but I don't really remember a whole lot of guys Beatty has landed.

At this point I don't care about his recruiting really but I want more creative and aggressive play calling and better teaching.
