More than anything, i just want to as an illini fan, not cringe every time a punt is kicked to our returners because i'm expecting him to drop it...just once, so my special request to Robert from Lioneye if he's reading this is, identify who our returners will be and give me a reason for once in 13 years to be optimistic about our return game.

I'm not Robert, but I am sleeping in a Holiday Inn tonight.

Barr I think will be returning kicks based on the practices I attended. To be honest, the kick return teams are as much a function of the other talent on the field blocking as the returner. I think the competition they have been having in the practices leads me to believe special teams will not be horrible, but not great either.

ST are as much of a product of program depth as anything else. The fact that this program's depth has been horrendous shows why ST have been so bad. That's starting to change and with a guy like Tim Salem leading the unit I think improvement is inevitable.
