Preliminary 2013 Illinois Football Training Camp / Camp Rantoul Schedule-
Sunday, August 4th - Saturday, August 10th * Memorial Stadium practices Sunday, August 11th * Fan Appreciation Day & Media Day at Memorial Stadium Monday, August 12th - Friday, August 16th * Camp Rantoul Saturday, August 17th * Memorial Stadium practice 7pm Sunday, August 18th - Tuesday, August 20th * Camp Rantoul 2 night practices were mentioned in the article- * 7:00pm practice at Rantoul High School, Monday, August 12th. * 7:00pm practice at Memorial Stadium, Saturday, August 17th. So what's open the public? Unknown at this time. More than anything, i just want to as an illini fan, not cringe every time a punt is kicked to our returners because i'm expecting him to drop it...just once, so my special request to Robert from Lioneye if he's reading this is, identify who our returners will be and give me a reason for once in 13 years to be optimistic about our return game.

Barr I think will be returning kicks based on the practices I attended. To be honest, the kick return teams are as much a function of the other talent on the field blocking as the returner. I think the competition they have been having in the practices leads me to believe special teams will not be horrible, but not great either. |
