IU 13-4 early. Hulls not starting. Crean shaking up the lineup a bit after the WI loss?

This game convinces me that our defense is lacking effort in a major way. NW looks like the same team that was beat by Iowa by 20 at home.

Swopshire showing why he was starting over Terrance Jennings at Louisville. I would of loved to have this kid or Van Treese. Did we recruit Swop out of hs? From STL iirc.

NW just didn't have enough to make the comeback. They gave up a few offensive boards that lead to points which helped IU keep the game out of reach.
D Mac playing on the NBA channel right now. |

I watched him play 5 minutes yesterday and he did nothing but get 1 rebound. I watched him against UCONN and he played 1 minute. Rest of season, it looks like mop up time. Why do we want more of poor front line players??
You need to upgrade your standards to those that allow us to compete for championships. |

Honestly, we could have reeled in one high profile 14 recruit in whatever position of need is the most for he 14-15 season we have a chance to be a contender. I love our 11 and 13 classes with the missing piece added in 14 watch out. Unfortunately we don't have any scholarships. I'm okay with that because we pulled in a solid four year guy. SVT has a lot of depth to contend with at Ville for minutes. He wasn't going to play a lot there, but he filled in admirably while Gorgui was injured. 6 minutes is all you needed to write this kid off I guess. Who am I to tell you what your eyes see, but mine tell me his a solid, physical presence in the post who would of gave us good minutes. Would I of rather had Swopshire? Yes, but SVT would not of been a bad pickup. Last edited by zoggle101; Jan 20, 2013 at 02:02 PM. |
