I can also see Freakin' Iowa getting to 9-9 and into the tourney. They sit at 4-7, but their upcoming schedule is set up for a strong finish: at Penn State (W) vs. Minnesota (?) at Nebraska (W) vs. Purdue (W) at Indiana (L) vs. Illinois (?) vs. Nebraska (W) It's possible they win 6 of those to finish 10-8. If Minnesota doesn't completely collapse, and if Illinois can get the 4 wins we think they can, I think the B1G is going to get 8 teams in. I see Purdue winning only 1 more. Maybe 2. Their remaining schedule is brutal. Have fun with this, Boilers: at Illinois (L) at Indiana (L) vs. Northwestern (W) at Iowa (L) at Wisconsin (L) vs. Michigan (L) vs. Minnesota (?) __________________ "The freight train is moving. Yeah, I just looked at their RPI. I didn't realize it was so high (92). They are going to need to win 6 of 7. Do that and they are in, IMO, even with a high RPI.

Basically if we can finish ahead of Iowa and Purdue (and maybe Minnesota?), I will consider us to be in the "top-half" of the Big Ten, and a practical lock for the tourney.

With unbalanced schedules and 16 team conferences like the Big East, conference records and standings aren't really very relevant these days. |

We will finish ahead of Purdue. As long as we don't wet the bed tomorrow against those clowns, they will end up with 6, maybe 7 B1G wins.

So it looks like a win for us @Iowa ruins any chances of them getting in the tourney. I like the sound of that.

Dickie V just keeps saying that everyone needs to have their fun with UK now, because it won't be this way next year. Very true. All the UK fans I know have pretty much given up on this year, and are convinced they've got a final four team coming in next year. 5 of their recruits were just named to the Jordan Brand Classic game.

Iowa's B1G schedule isn't doing them any favors. They only had one game against UM, MSU, OSU, UI. That has to be one of the weaker conference schedules in the B1G. How good does a 10-8 record look if 7 of your wins come against PSU, NU, UNL, and PU (potentially the bottom 4 big teams)?

Wow Noel goes down with what looked like a nasty knee injury for KU. They'll be in big trouble if he misses much time.

If Noel's knee is as bad as that looked and he sounded screaming in pain, this is probably his last game at UK. Too bad. Just another reason this 1 year in college rule is horse $hit.

It was a pretty epic and heartwarming scene seeing the entire UK team carrying Noel off the court

I really wish the Krush was behind the bench so we could see them on TV. It just makes the whole arena look packed when the section you see on TV is.

I am getting physically ill listening to Dakich basically campaigning for a job during this UM/MSU game. It's quite disgusting. What an insufferable a**clown.
