PSU at Michigan? Oh boy. That could be a 90-50 sort of game. The other two are important games for all 4 teams. Iowa must win that game. We must win our game. If not we may end up at the end of the season playing at Freakin' Iowa, fighting the Hawkeyes for a tourney spot. The picture will become a little clearer for a few teams today. Looking forward to this day of B1G basketball. __________________ "The freight train is moving. Either jump on or get off." - John Groce |

Michigan is playing terribly. Too bad we couldn't have gotten this team in our first meeting. If they are still in a slump come our next meeting, a win isn't too far fetched.

Penn St deserves credit here too. They lost a heartbreaker the other night and they aren't laying down at all. Thursday night will not be easy. |

I just hope we don't look past PSU to that Michigan game. The lions have been more competitive lately and I can't imagine they'll go 0 for the conference season. They're bound to beat somebody.

MI vs. PSU tied at 32 at the half. MI really started flat. Homer intentional foul call against PSU helped them come back. Imagine they will come back strong the second half but would not have imagined them starting so slow at home.

![]() Join a real conference. The fact they are in the discussion for a top seed is absurd and a slap in the face to all those programs who are fighting their way through the meat grinder of a real conference just trying to sneak into the tournament. __________________ "The freight train is moving. Wisconsin can't buy 3 yet lead 22-6 at the 10:15 mark. OSU has stone cold shooting so far but I don't see that continuing. Not sure who I want to win this game. Doesn't really matter too much as far as the Illini are concerned. Unless OSU wins and we pull off the upset at their place.

WI up big early in an important game for them and tOSU today. Winner maintains their ability to finish at the top of the B1G. Losing will make it extremely tough to have a chance at catching IN and MSU. tOSU has a brutal final stretch in their schedule so losing this could be particularly telling for them. If WI goes on to win, they could be looking pretty good given their softer schedule to finish out.

Unfortunately this Penn State game is probably the wake-up call the Wolverines needed. Nobody thought they'd be up by only three with eight minutes left. Beilein will work them real tough this week most likely, and they'll probably be more mentally prepared for us when we roll into town next weekend.
Wisconsin has doubled OSU's score so far in the first half. The Buckeyes program is clearly down from where it was in previous years. Can't understand how they're still in the top 13. They'll most likely drop a bit this week after struggling against NW at home and trailing big on the road. |

I'm officially worried about Thursday after watching this game.
How PSU is winless in the league is baffling. |

However, they were very good today and clearly are playing their best basketball of the year. Let me say, I'm happy this game isn't in Happy Valley. |
