Based on the game in Lincoln, I think we could bench our starting 5 and still win this game. Nebraska is a horrendously bad basketball team.

Nebraska is not going to just lie down for us. They just beat Iowa in a tough come-back win. What we do have going for us is that they play WI on Tues. in what should be an uphill battle for them. They will have less time to rest and prepare than we have. The fact that we are at home also bodes well. The Huskers have not played nearly as well on the road as they do at home. I don't see us losing this game in any way shape or form. I hope we are tougher than that.

That's the thing, having to hope Nebby gets worn out so we can win a home game that should be a gimme isn't having much confidence. I agree we SHOULD win but I won't be putting any money on it after watching the PSU game. Nebby has won 4 times in B1G, and just beat Iowa who were probably thinking they should win too. I guess as long as someone tells our team we need this one we'll be alright.

We've been pretty fortunate at drawing bad teams for our senior nights. Even last year with Michigan, they were barely ranked in the top 25 if I remember correctly. The year before that we had lowly, winless Indiana.

Considering we beat this team by 20 on the road a few weeks back, we should be pretty confident going into this one, regardless of who has a longer rest.

Nice stat. I'm guessing this is simply because if we shoot better, we have a lot more confidence which leads to better defense, which sometimes leads to easy transition buckets and a fast paced game. We didn't make shots and didn't play with any pace against UM. Hopefully we can see the opposite, with a up and down game and a ton of 3 pointers falling to send the senior class out with a bang. A game similar to the Purdue game a couple weeks ago would be great.
