I hate for anyone to leave, because I like the entire team, but if we are looking to add more than 3 transfers, something has to give.

Will Dug even be academically eligible by NCAA standards? The word out of Michigan is that he's sitting at around a 1.9 GPA right now which is the bare minimum requirement to play ball as a junior. If he doesn't improve on that this semester, not sure he'd be eligible anywhere. And now that he's portalling, it's going to be on him instead of Michigan to make grades, and he doesn't strike me as the academically motivated go getter type...

Luke struggled at times this year finding minutes but also has proven that he can be crucial to our success. I think Brad would want him to stay myself. Remember last year Brad said he had him penciled in as a starter before his injury. How much of a difference that might of made in Luke's development if he hadn't gotten hurt. He plays his butt whenever he's on the floor. He is an everyday guy to me.

I dislike transfers within conference. Hard to cheer for a guy who was the enemy less than a year ago... I know its only fair, and often good for the players and programs, but it's like free agency in baseball where every year seems like a Chinese fire drill with last year's opponents becoming this years hometown players. It pretty much killed my interest in baseball. Then again, I grew up when you could count on Stan Musial to be with the Cards EVERY YEAR.

And only 2-3 leave? That would be incredible and I’d be ecstatic

My hope is Dain stays. He feels bought it and I think he sees the door for him contributing. Locker room loves him too.

But only losing 2-3 would be a dream

They probably CAN but I dont think I would be inclined to answer truthfully (or at all) if I was another school LOL, think about that for a minute LMAO
