Why a C on Davis? We definitely could use a guy, or 3, that can shoot the lights out.Boswell A
Maddox A

I trust Brad. He gets paid a lot of money to vet kids and bring in kids he believes in. Nothing dishonest at all in my post. Brad sees talent and thinks he can coach this kid up to help our team. If he’s wrong, then he’ll be the 14th guy off our bench this year and gone next year. Do you really think he’ll see meaningful minutes if his effort is poor and his attitude sucks? Sorry if your intellect feels insulted. Wasn’t my intention. But I Think Brad and co have earned the benefit of the doubt and I think it’s silly for you, or anyone else on this board, to think they understand EDG culture better than Brad does.

looks like another portal transfer win for DaddyBrad with the Fighting Illini.....................he is on fire ........He really really is....
You’ve both got valid points. This is a completely dishonest take as to why fans on here are questioning this signing. It has nothing to do with him not being top ranked or being a "depth" signing. It has everything to do with him having the worst attitude on the court for a team that had team-wide issues with attitude and effort. Given the views of most Louisville fans on this signing and what I saw defensively from him when I watched Louisville play earlier this season, the concerns expressed are more than reasonable. Character counts. Whether it's from your starters or your bench guys, bad psyche has a negative effect on team chemistry. Hopefully he will prove the doubters wrong, but it's insulting to the intellect of any reasonable observer to call the doubts on this signing unreasonable.
So the plan is to ride it out with the young guys in the backcourt? I mean I believe Morez and Amani would make it a top half backcourt in the Big Ten but they’re still young.Dang you're quick ...
Underwood + staff + team > > > Payne + staff + SkyyI understand that he played good D at USC. What Louisville fans saw on the court from him when his team wasn't doing well still concerns me. I hope that you're right, though, that things work out, and that his influence on our team next season is a good one.
We're out on Small ...
Carey Booth - #64 (as of 4/5/24)
Former Team
Notre Dame
Years Remaining -3
Position - Center
Ht: 6-10 Wt: 203
"Booth, a four-star recruit coming out of high school and the son of 10-year NBA veteran and current Denver Nuggets general manager Calvin Booth, averaged 6.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game last season while making 19 starts.
The younger Booth preferred to hang around the perimeter at Notre Dame, taking more 3s (118) than 2s (74). The problem was he wasn’t very efficient, making only 29.7 percent of his triples. Run him off the line, and he was even worse, struggling to make pull-up jumpers. I don’t love his shot mechanics; he brings the ball close to his face as he starts his shooting motion and has a low release, which negates the perks of being a big man who can shoot.
But there is reason to be optimistic about the player he could become. While he played as a stretch four for the Fighting Irish, his best college position is probably as a center in a five-out offense, especially if he’s ever able to consistently make his jumper. He’ll need to get stronger to play that spot, but he has a good frame for a young player and was a solid team defender who was usually in the right spot.
He’s still 18 and doesn’t turn 19 until July."

Luke/White filling minutes on the wing….
