David Jones at Memphis is not currently in the portal, is considering the NBA, and would have major elite suitors if he did transfer. My question is who in the portal (or remaining to enter the portal) is a better fit for TSJs replacement than Storr?
I would definitely take that deal. All you can eat cheese curds is my kinda perk
Everyone who is on our schedule for next year? LOLDavid Jones, Domask, Hawkins …
Who says no ?
This has gotten out there a bit...but it got the point where Storr asked for a spot for his girlfriend on the woman's team. That was the main breaking point to me. Brad wasn't going to put Shauna in that position
Meh. People get tattoos for everything these days. Probably has his favorite cereal inked somewhere too.Shocked by this, Hepburn has a badger tattoo, that's how much that kid loved Wisconsin.
With this economy it’s not surprising that BU had to shut the Storr down.We backed off of Storr a week ago. He was not our top target anymore. There are more guys that are going to hit the portal
You should have a problem with it. It's bad for business giving kids all the power that they want. And how do you force a women's team to take a player when they are building their own culture and need pieces that are fits for them. Again, bad business.I don’t have a problem with getting the gf a spot on the women’s team if that can get a top player for the men- now if Shauna didn’t t have a spot I wouldn’t want her to have to crean somebody. maybe Kansas had a spot and we didn’t
It sounds like the money came down to 800k from us and Kansas was at 900k - so if Kansas was offering a spot for the gf we likely don’t get Storr anyway
Sean is going to have a very good team next year. They are going to win alot of games. The money definitely factored in though....Maddox "winning is very important to me... That's why I'm going to a team that was .500 and in the NIT last year rather than a team that won the Big 10 tourney and was in the Elite 8 finishing top 6 in the country."
Seems like a bright kid...
Just be honest and tell us you wanted the
I’d like to think Whitman wouldn’t allow Underwood to even consider that possibility. This has gotten out there a bit...but it got the point where Storr asked for a spot for his girlfriend on the woman's team. That was the main breaking point to me. Brad wasn't going to put Shauna in that position
Morez = the Elite wing in your lineup?Booth comes off the bench in that scenario …
Boswell, Domask, Elite wing, Hawkins, Transfer 5
Bench: Ty, Goode, Booth, Tre, Davis, DGL, Nico
Assume this was the car u-turn gif one of the insiders posted. Storr I would've loved Storr but always felt like there was more potential collateral risk we were going to take on for such a large NIL commitment. We backed off of Storr a week ago. He was not our top target anymore. There are more guys that are going to hit the portal
Honestly, Illinois would likely be his best NIL offer regardless because donors like him. With the possibility of surgery on the table and recovery road ahead, how many schools would be lining up to offer him the NIL package he can get here?
I don't understand why Coleman would look to transfer if he is going to spend one more year in college, considering the above.
I bet that’s probably not even the most ambitious request some of these guys have made. I can’t imagine why coaches are retiring early. This has gotten out there a bit...but it got the point where Storr asked for a spot for his girlfriend on the woman's team. That was the main breaking point to me. Brad wasn't going to put Shauna in that position
Hard pass.Absolutely an EDG. Would love to see him in Orange-and-Blue.
(1) That was last year and our roster is very different next year.Maddox "winning is very important to me... That's why I'm going to a team that was .500 and in the NIT last year rather than a team that won the Big 10 tourney and was in the Elite 8 finishing top 6 in the country."
