Looks like an excellent defender. He certainly likes to take it to the hole.

Just looking at catch and shoot numbers....K. Richmond ranks very low (2 percentile) and C. Coward (93 percentile) very high. Lathon was in the 60's and Poplar was in the low 70's percentile. When I look at shot motion and release time, very impressed with Coward. He looks like a very confident shooter who needs little time or space. When I look at Richmond, I see a slower motion and lack of fluidity.

Between the 4, I haven't seen enough of Coward to know how he would rank against top competiton and in the big lights but I beleive it would carry over. Poplar might be the safest bet, he had good size (6'5) and best leaper, played against top competiton, solid numbers for shooting, tranisiton, passing. I feel good about Lathon as well, he looked very good against the Illini and shoots a very confident shot.

Richmond, I would pass. To be that alpha scorer you will get the ball often with few seconds in the shot clinic. You have to be able to spot up and shoot or dribble and shoot. His percentile ranking for both are very low. I also mentoned the mechanics, I rather not hope that all gets fixed by next season.
Richmond is by far the best defender of that group.ā€¦ by far.
He was first team all Big East & weā€˜re likeā€¦ I donā€™t know if heā€™s good enough?

This - Richmond would be our best player next year if he comes here - by far in my opinion
We have a really good team around him so I can see the draw for him- we also don't have a guy that can get to the rim consistently, and be the transition guy on the fast break and he fills all of those needs - he would be our #1 option on offense and he creates shots for others, so I see it as a huge benefit for our three point shooters

I like Poplar, Coward and Lathon too, but it will be much easier to fill the good shooter role - there's nobody else out there that does what Kadary does

Do we have a Portal war room at Ubben, aside from BUs office. Seems like this needs 1 dedicated assistant just to organize and manage the portal given its sheer numbers and chaotic time constraints. The way of the future it seems.
We've heard from BU numerous times in the past that Tyler played that role. Perhaps he's now grown beyond it.

ā€œSerbianā€ and ā€œCroatianā€ are the same language, except one is written in Cyrillic letters while the other is written in Latin letters (it was called ā€œSerbo-Croatianā€; calling it ā€œSerbianā€ or ā€œCroatianā€ is more a way of trying to assert more distinct national identity). Just saying
I am sure you and Quasimodo 101 are right and I am not arguing the point. But I didn't know that beforehand or before I penned my post so I did a Google search and the first link was to the "World Atlas" which says, "

Croatian: The Official Language Of Croatia

As expected, Croatian is the most popular language in the country, and 95% of the population are Croatian native speakers. Before Croatia adopted Croatian as its official language in the 19th century, Latin was the official language. A form of Serbo-Croatian language, which is a blend of Serbian and Croatian, was used in Croatia between 1945 and 1991. Croatian consists of three dialects, namely Shtokavian, Kajkavian, and Chakavian. The language uses the Latin alphabet.

Minority Languages Of Croatia

Serbian

Serbian is a minority language in Croatia and is mainly used by Serbs in Croatia. The Serbian language is closely related to Croatian. The language is taught in a few schools, especially in the counties of Osijek-Baranja and Vukovar-Srijem. Croatians firmly rejected the use of Serbian as the official language through violent protests in 2013. However, Croatian laws granted Serbs the right to use their native language for official purposes in areas where they formed a third of the population. Unlike Croatian, which uses the Latin alphabet, Serbian uses the Serbian Cyrillic alphabet.

So, you could see where I was misled. The above certainly makes it sound as if they are two different and distinct languages, no? Yes? Noyes Lab (haven't used that one in a long time). I mean, it says "The Serbian language is closely related to Croatian" which to my mind indicates two similar yet separate languages. But what do I know? Maybe someone can ask TI about it.

Between Hamer, Tyler Underwood, and the 20 young student analytical brain nerds. We are covered. The spreadsheets and slides they throw around can take down a Forrest. Impressive what has happened thus far with our roster. Huge, fast, and talented!
