For what it's worth, JT re-tweeted a picture of Frazier in an Illini uniform a few days ago; so he's obviously aware of this recruitment.

Lovie is such a class act. He has really soaked up the Illini attitude so well. Met him a couple weeks ago at an event, I see great things in the future.

Dee was given this position because he knows what to say and can answer the questions of a recruit. The problem is that we have guys that don't have the viewpoint of a gifted and sought after recruit. Dee has seen it as a player in high school, college, and NBA. You have to be honest with the recruits and we have an awesome product. We don't have to claim that he will be the next Deron or Frank Williams or be the "man" form day one.

It will be interesting if we see an uptick in commits after visits with Dee involved. I'd like to hear some recruits mention him as a key point of influence in their decision. I definitely feel more confident with him in the fold and am sure he'll make a positive contribution.

Not every recruit gets the "Lovie effect", but Frazier just received it. And what a better way to take in a football practice, since the team's first game is not far away.

I really like Frazier's enthusiasm towards Illinois, and I'd take him in a heartbeat. He's the kind of player I want on my team.

This could be an indicator that he may commit very soon, perhaps during his visit. I'm down for it.

Ditto about Georgia. If I was a fan, I'd be upset. I'd be close to waving the white flag.

Not sure why any 4-star recruit would pick Georgia for basketball. Talk about obscurity...

Well...you got me. It's obviously the better program with more notoriety and NBA player development...I'm going to save myself the time of finding random programs with better two year records over the last ten years than the likes of Indiana, UCLA, Duke, Kentucky, Arizona, Michigan State, etc....

Let's hope the staff closes this one out tomorrow morning. All signs seem to be pointing in the right direction. We all know that things can turn QUICK, so if we can close him before that Georgia visit that would let everyone sleep a little easier at night.
