Do yourself a favor and don’t buy any personalized jerseys for the next few years. You are adjusting to this new world of college basketball worse than I am.

It’s Brads fantasy basketball team. We don’t get to play. I’m hoping to develop some attachment to this team next year but my general sense is that’s not going to happen. I hope college basketball figures this out soon.

I get the point but you can earn it over the course of the whole year. Buchanan and Herendeen aren’t going to have to qualify for regionals. The last three spots will be earned now I would think. No one has been able to lock it down so far.

Buchanan and Herendeen are the only two who I am certain about. Guessing there is some pretty intense qualifying going on about now. Nobody else has locked down a spot I wouldn’t think.

Every team that hosts a regional gets to stay home. Definite advantage for sure.

This version of college basketball is dead to me. The fanatics and students will continue to care but they are going to lose the majority of fans. At least last years team had a few familiar faces. I am sure I will watch some games but there will be no emotional investment from me. How could...

Well…hats off to NW. They are lapping this entire field. They have 4 guys in the top 10 individually. The streak had to end somewhere and today is going to be the day. Hopefully it lights a fire for regionals.

They are playing with the two teams in front of them, that is big. They have dug a pretty big hole for sure. Need a little help from MSU and NW but this team is certainly capable. Weather looks better and scores should be lower today. +28 is my guess of where they need to be to win.

Long ways to go. I don’t think NW or MSU can close this out. I think it still comes down to Illinois and Purdue.

Warm and windy in Ohio. Scores will be high. Watch out for Ohio State and Purdue. Hopefully the Illini can grab the lead by days end.

In other college golf news……#1 UNC is getting boat raced at the Valspar. Such is golf. Tough to be at the top of your game consistently and there are so many good collegiate players now.

Back 9 has been much easier for the whole field unfortunately. Two short par 5’s make the scoring much better. Hopefully they can get hot and close it out. Would be a great response after a really tough first 9 holes yesterday.

Too much inconsistency. Nobody willing to give up much to roll the dice on an unproven QB at the end of his rookie deal. Let’s just hope they get the right guy in the draft!
