If Beilein somehow winds up taking the Pistons job, got to think that Castleton might open back up? Possibly even Ignas.
What an understatement. I like Beilein, too, but he's absolutely murdered us since he's been at Michigan.

How much more leverage would Beilein need in those negotiations though?
Great results, the cleanest rep in NCAA basketball... Seriously, if I was UM it would basically be handing him a contract and asking him to fill in the years and money.
There has to be other reasons for taking that interview.
Has Castleton gotten to campus yet? /halfjoking
Beilien is a solid coach, and he would work in NBA. If pistons don't fill job soon who knows? Wouldn't break my heart, he has killed us on recruits and games, one way to thin competition!
I feel dirty posting this but I thought it might make for interesting comments. Auburn extends Pearl's contract.

Saw on a yahoo sports notification that Beilien said he’d stay at UM “this year and years to come.”
I think it was all a bargaining chip to either raise his salary, extend his contract, or some combo of the two.
But you never know I guess...
I will always remember Duhon as the guy who cost me $$$ with his backdoor cover in the Final 4 vs UConn. Down 4 he hits a ridiculous banked in 3 at the buzzer.
No word on $$ here, but I'm sure that fling with the Pistons earned him a nice raise.Beilein's contract extended through 2022-23.
