??? He didn't have a better option??? Or, am I missing something???It’s official: Brady signs with the Bucs.
They had *2* 1,000 yard receivers last year in Godwin and Evans (Evans is 6'5", so a nightmare matchup with a solid QB)??? He didn't have a better option??? Or, am I missing something???

I think it is a pretty good spot personally...
Not at $35 million per??? He didn't have a better option???
If the Bears are going to trade for Newton, giving up draft picks and reportedly having to make cuts to clear cap space, surely it's to come in and start, no? And getting an idea of his physical status might be difficult in the current environment.
If I was Newton I would ask Carolina to release me also. In any case, the remaining qb options left for the Bears to pursue don't really get me fired up for the next season. The Panthers are going to release Newton. They should send the Bears draft picks to take on Newton’s salary. Not the other way around.
OK did not see that before I posted. Still not too fired up.Nick Foles to the Bears
