So are Bears responsible for his entire $22 million salary?
I’m not sure exactly how it works, but the ESPN article said that the Jags were still on the hook for $18.5MM of Foles’ salary.

Just hear the Bears are picking up $15 out of the $22 million of his salaryI only really like this move if the Jaguars are eating most of the salary.
I would also say there is a 50% chance that Pace is not the GM in 2021.I’d say there’s about a 60% chance the 2021 starting qb for the Bears is not currently on their roster.

I think you are probably right, but what if Trubisky washes out this season. That would mean 3 of his first round picks, all top ten in the draft, two of which he traded up for, one the number 2 overall, would be complete wipeouts. Also a second round pick on a TE that was a project that hasn't worked out. I wouldn't want that guy around anymore drafting for me.I think 9+ wins and he keeps his job. Anything less and he’s gone.
So, 50% seems reasonable to me.

Bears sign Ted Ginn to a one-year deal.
Seems redundant with Patterson. WR depth, I guess?
Bears have declined the 5th year option on Trubisky.
