Didn't Groce say Myke Henry was the best rebounder on the team a few weeks ago. We are getting pounded on the boards the whole game so why not give him a chance? Great win though and listening to Groce in the background of the radio feed was entertaining too.
all good points harv, as usual. the rebounding one is the most important. if we get smothered on the boards against a wac team like hawaii, i don't know if i will be able to watch games against teams like michigan state, wisconsin and minnesota

Great point about MH...not sure if MH fell asleep on the beach instead of going to practice? His rebounding was sorely missed.
"Practice? We talkn' bout practice. Not the game. Practice." (AI a few yrs back)
for all of you complaining about a road game at Hawaii, this win will help our rpi immensely if we are in ncaa contention at the end. plus, i think it will certainly help us be ready for the usc game. after all, we will have been in hawaii for almost a week by then, will be used to the weather and the time change, and have a game under our belts to boot
And at the moment, that why is we will need a big guy like Maverick and a nice long lengthy rebounder like Colbert next year. Hopefully Alexander after that and we wont have to worry about rebounding for a long time.
Great way to end the IlliNIGHT cap! Hope we can keep moving forward from this and get at least one, hopefully two or three wins in Muai! Thanks to every one who stayed up and posted on the boards during the game, had a blast. Good night from the desert of AZ and Go Illini! I-L-L

I think their size may have had something to do with Henry not being as effective.
We sure could have used his scoring punch, though.
Oh well, on to Monday night!
What happened to TG tonight? He didn't seem to get into the flow.
Shot wasn't falling tonight. I love Groce's philosophy of "keep shooting" though. Tyler could go 4 for 6 against USC on Monday. As a recruit, how could you not like this system.
