Great day at big positions of need with some of the highest rated players of the class. Wow.

I guess Mason going to dental school and Mike Martin in Mechanical Engineering along with multiple Business students doesn't count. You are prejudging students based on a major? We are not FGCU, Virginia Commonwealth or George Mason. We are U of I, I would bet a run for the Big Ten championship would help us a bit but from what I have seen we don't need any enrollment help. I'm sure Duke doesn't waiver from championship to championship with candidates . Do you really think people will be enrolling in the Engineering, Accounting and Agriculture at U of I because our football team won the Big Ten? I think not. The University academics stand on their own.

As I noted, we are a very different case then those schools. Where I think we could benefit is with increased selectivity, not increased enrollment.

Nice offer list. This team is quietly becoming more interesting. God forbid he is a Recreation major.

What was Clayton Jr. looking for in his ultimate destination?
"Academics, environment and a good stable place that could help me be successful," he said.

check, check, and uh-oh

Philly is not far from Elkton, Maryland where Harding is from. Little further from where Pulley lives which is closer to Baltimore but could have something to do with it?

I think we're at 25. Two enrolled early so I would say two more. One more DL and RB hopefully.

Rivals has us at 25 but that includes Kramer who is a grayshirt, and Parchman who may be sign and place. So I think potentially 4

respect my decision™
We are talking about 85 scholarship athletes vs roughly 33,000 undergrad students. 85 athletes aren't diminishing anything. A highly profitable revenue sport does more positive for the University than does 85 college athletes with a 2.0 GPA negatively impact the university.

No earthly idea why this is so hard for some to understand. Our admissions standards for these kids needs to be the same as 99% of the competition.

This one is huge! I like the other commits, but people were saying this is the one we really needed. Might be our highest rated player on the recruiting board for us. We really made up for Neal being gone.

Not sure how getting a verbal from a freshman (Dele' Harding) makes up for losing an experienced starter like Neal. Lets not get ahead of ourselves here.
