Excited to have representatives from all 32 @NFL teams at our Pro Day. Good luck to all of our #Illini participating.

Wouldn't surprise me if Fej carves out a multi-year NFL career. Probably best for him to go undrafted.

I think Fej is working himself into a late round pick. I see New England all over him.

Word is Tavon and NE are parting ways. IIRC, he was the last Illini left on the squad.

Don't know about drafting Fej, though. Maybe an invite after the draft?

Wilson signed with Detroit yesterday.

I think Fej has worked himself into a day 3 selection. I could see Karras possibly moving inside to guard and doing well there. Ward and Allison improved on some of their numbers.

Fej will play in the league. If he impresses enough at pro day, he may get drafted. Someone will sign him regardless. Id be okay if it was the bears.

jeebus Jihad, just take your professors with you! :thumb:

That's just how he is.

But outside of those weird purple people eaters up north, UIUC is one of the closest schools to Chicago.. he could probably even head back for class the next day if he wanted.

I mean, he's not going to the draft because of the unlikelihood of him getting picked in the first round, lets be clear here. Agents don't want their players to sit around in the green room all night and not get picked.

Whitney Mercilus and Corey Liuget but I can't remember who was first.

Also, didn't AJ Jenkins go in the 1st round or something like that?

After some research, yup it was Whitney Mercilus at pick 26 and AJ Jenins at pick 30 in the 2012 NFL draft.
