My info man looks like he was plugged in. He said look for movement right after State Tourn and Tilmons season was over. He said he thought they would be making a campus visit then wanted to get it over before AAU season. Im no insider just happened to run into a person that was connected to the situation and didn't mind to share a little info.

What's sad is I used to get excited when someone said that a certain player was leaning towards Illini. This time I just went and got some popcorn and looked to see how long the line was at the mens restroom. Times have changed but hopefully brighter days are ahead.
If we get Tilmon, Goodwin, and Lewis, then our '17 class has to be top 5 nationally no?

For now, yes. It would probably end up in the 5-10 range after all said and done.

For what it's worth, the 2016 5th best recruiting class - again according to 247 Sports - is Connecticut. They have 4 commits that are all 4 stars. National rankings of 34, 35, 71, and 133.
I would certainly think that our dream class noted above would be Top 5 if not very very close to it.

He was really the guy to get the ball rolling. Gotta think that he was a must-add to get further ingrained on the relationships with the other guys.
Seeing his rankings - it looks like he is a bit of an outlier with that group. That said, I'm very happy with him being on board if he was the glue guy to get the rest in.
I'm gonna say Goodwin ends up top 50, and Pickett moves up to around 130ish.
Definitely. If anyone is poised to move up this summer, it would be Goodwin. Tilmon could make a strong case for himself if he dominates in that tournament coming up. No doubt eyes will be on those games.
Just out of curiosity, how long after the high school season ends til this season's highlight videos come out usually? I was jonesing for some new material to watch but nothing much recent on our guys.
Goodwin, Lewis, and Pickett are all underrated.
