I swear only my fellow Illinois fans can make fun of a programs for their performance in a tournament that we can't even qualify for. :tsk:

I dont think were the only ones making fun of them for this...

Carter will be back at PF. They'll still have Dodd-zilla and Cekovsky at center next year.

Carter gawn.

Maryland's Robert Carter will sign with an agent and declare for the 2016 NBA Draft, source told @CBSSports.

Wouldn't surprise if Melo leaves as well.

Very talented but sometimes gets way out of control. The change of scenery will probably help him out because he sometimes tried to force things if he was having a quiet game.

Based on his game logs, that looks to have been about 80% of the time.

Only 6 ppg, 31% from 3, and under 40% overall. What's he good at?

247 sports ranked 120 coming out of HS

Better numbers as a freshman 4.5 ppg, 44% 3pt, 47% total in 17mpg, but not seeing him as a lock to be really good & definitely not Yogi good.

If Carter leaves for the draft then that leaves Maryland with....what? I don't know their team particularly well.

Where do we finish next year in the Big Ten without Nunn?

Where do we finish next year in the Big Ten without Nunn?

Projected line ups without Nunn:

PG: Abrams, TJL, Tate
SG: JCL, Jordan, Austin
SF: Hill, DJW, Nichols, Liss
PF: Finke, Black
C: Thorne(or a transfer), Morgan

Any grad transfer guards we'd go after if Nunn is dismissed?

Still looks like a pretty solid line up. BTNs Jon Crispin says if healthy this is a top 5 B1G team next year and a Top 25 team nationally.

I don't envision Nichols primary spot at the 3, unless Black comes back. He'll play the 4 if Black isn't coming back.

Yeah, obviously, I think we are better with Nunn, as he hasAll-BIG 1st or 2nd team ability, but with JCL, I just don't think losing him will hurt us as much as one might expect. We'll see though. :shield:

Yeah hopefully a fully healthy roster plus JCL getting a year under his belt plus a full off-season will minimize the effect of the loss of Nunn unlike when we lost him early last year.

Nunn is the second best scorer on the team, but he's also the starter we can most afford to lose, especially if Jordan makes a nice sophomore leap. Losing Abrams, Hill, Black or Morgan would hurt considerably more.
