Finally get some time to start Peaky Blinders season 3 tonight.

Another strong season of Game of Thrones, can't wait to see how it ends. But it does get pretty frustrating how it has full episodes without showing some main characters. Unfortunately, it's one of the consequences of having so many different storylines.

The GOT show runners are moving pretty quickly to set up storyline ends for a lot of the main characters i think, the rumor is there are two more seasons set and each of the next seasons are going to be 7 shows long instead of the 10 they are now. Wonder how Martin will react if the show gets too far off the rails. I hope HBO can come up with anything that is close to this. Did anyone see Rome from HBO not sure how long ago.

After 5 years off, evidently Larry David's got the itch. Season 9 of Curb Your Enthusiasm is going to happen. Yippee!

I see Vinyl was cancelled after one season by HBO. I thought it was an interesting show, did anyone else here have an opinion?

Just started up Top Boy on Netflix. It's British program, so the seasons are jam packed (2, 4-episode "series").

Also, Netflix recently added the first 4 seasons of Showtime's Shameless (U.S. version). It's definitely of my favorite shows currently airing (dysfunction and chaos greatly appeal to me).

Top Boy's on my list, let us know what you think.

Shameless (US) is spotty, but, overall, is good. Huge ensemble cast, but the writers and actors have found a way to make the viewer care about them.

Just finished Penny Dreadful. Very good show, which I'll miss.

Been busy these last few days, and I'm only 2 episodes into the first series, but Top Boy is quality. Not quite what I was expecting, but it's been a slow, steady build. I've got a good feeling for the final 2 episodes of the series.

P.S. Subtitles are recommended. Thick, thick British accents abound.

Zipped right through the first season. I'm really enjoying it. This show really reminds me of Sons of Anarchy.

Glad you're enjoying it. Second season is even better. Watched Sons in it's entirety. Good show, for sure, but doesn't approach PB.

Only problem with PB is the Brits' notion of how many episodes a season constitutes.

Ha-ha. Yep. Way too short. FYI, the show gets better and better as it goes on.

I finally got around to giving Hell on Wheels a view...and promptly binge watched the entire first season. Hopefully the remaining seasons are as good.

Most of them are. There's some similarity in the level of quality between HoW and Sons of Anarchy, in my opinion. A few plot threads get way more time than they should, some get kind of diminished, but overall it's a great ride.

I kind of look at it with the quality/quantity phenomenon. With the shorter seasons, the quality is jam packed. While I loved Sons of Anarchy, there were so many episodes I felt were purely filler. With Peaky Blinders, I can't think of one where I felt that way.

Definitely hear what you're saying. But when you roll through a season in a couple of days, having to wait a year for more episodes sucks. Credit to Stephen Knight for cracking vision, writing and showrunning though.

Finally got around to finishing Season 5 of Homeland. Love this show when it's hitting on all cylinders.

Started watching The Affair as well. Very interesting premise. 3 episodes in.

Wonder if they ever did a season three of The Affair? We got the first two seasons in the UK but it's been quiet for a while.
