Has anyone watched Danny McBride's new show Vice Principals? The school logo looks very familiar.

Finally got around to finishing season 1 of Top Boy. A bit slower-paced and less grim than I had thought it would be, but the character development is quite good. 4 episodes per series fit the timeline perfectly.

Subtitles are strongly recommended. Easily the thickest British accent I've ever heard, bruv.

Watched first two episodes of "The Night Of". Outstanding.

Series 2 of Top Boy was great television. I'll recant my previous assessment of it being "less grim" than expected.

Anyone seen "Last Chance U" on Netflix. I'm hoping to binge it one night this week but have heard nothing but great things.

Just finished season 2 of Bloodline and Kingdom. Both good shows. Both renewed for season 3s.

Took some recommendations here to heart. Started Hell on Wheels (looks promising) and am going to start Stranger Things. Last Chance U and Top Boy are on my short list.

Just watched ep. 1 of Stranger Things with the missus. Loved it. Going to watch ep. 2 tonight, for sure.

Love anything crime related so I started binge watching The Jinx today. I knew a little about it, but wow is this unsettling. After watching the OJ stuff recently too it's really crazy what these guys got away with.

Check out "Making A Murderer" on Netflix. It's very, very biased, but still pretty compelling.

I grew up in Wisconsin 20 minutes south of where that took place. Never thought a story so close to home would go viral via Netflix.

It'll be interesting to see the second documentary series, especially with the latest news involving Brendan Dassey (I'll avoid revealing spoilers for those who haven't watched it through).

Haha...binged the first 5 episodes of Stranger Things yesterday. Great stuff! Probably finish it off tonight. Saw it was renewed. Yay! Afraid it was going to be a one off.

Brendan got released! I don't care how biased the viewpoint of the show was I am from a family of lawyers and cops and his admission of guilt was disgusting.

Halt and Catch Fire (AMC) season 3 premieres tomorrow. Another very good show I stumbled upon via Netflix.

Yes I watched it over a couple day period. Pretty interesting but the head coach seems like kind of an oddball. Also frustrating to see kids with such talent make such poor decisions.

Anyone watching "Ballers" on HBO? Rashard Mendenhall was a contributor last year and is the head story editor this year I believe.

Yep. I'm hooked. Not great, but good. I think it is a reasonable, if not entertainment-slanted, look at behind the scenes and off the field stuff that happens in the NFL. Throw away fare, like Entourage.

Hopped on the bandwagon and am cruising through Stranger Things on Netflix. 5 episodes through. Nothing is being reinvented, but it's quite addictive.

Just finished Friday Night Lights. Solid show. No idea what is next for me.

I'm not sure what your tastes are, but I'm probably to catch season 3 of Rectify (just added to Netflix).

It really is. Seems to get better and better. Just really solid and fun.

Just concluded the finale. Quite entertaining! Somewhat predicted a small piece of the finale during the pilot episode on my film reviews Facebook page (Shameless plug: Double Feature Film Reviews on Facebook).

Started watching Last Chance U and Power tonight. Really recommend both shows.

Major props to that advisor at EMCC. That has to be a really tough job, and those kids need someone who cares about them. Looks like she does everything she can to help.

Friday Night Lights, while corny and overly dramatic, was such a pleasant surprise of a show for me. I really enjoyed it.

I haven't watched it yet, but I've heard good things about Bloodline (Netflix original, I believe) which stars Coach Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler).
