mentions Illinois. Had 19 last night in 16u victory at Vegas. (Ayo had 30.)
Kezo Brown from Simeon is among the top 2018 guards in the state of Illinois. We caught up with the slashing lefty wing to discuss his play with the Mac Irvin Fire, upcoming season with the Wolverines, and recruiting in this video.

Not surprised. There was a photo of him that was posted a few weeks ago of him wearing the orange and blue, and it was circulating on Twitter. He thanked the Illini staff for the photo editing.

He has attended games at SFC.

We'll probably take 2 2018s max. Brown is unlikely to be one of them. Glad to see he's back though. And good to know he's interested.

Chris Mullins the new Tark? Brown was on Nike South Beach and is a real banger. If he stays out of trouble (and jail) he and Lovett could make a real difference for the Johnnies.

Jeff Borzello Verified account ‏@jeffborzello Former UConn pledge Zach Brown has committed to St. John's, sources told ESPN.

Top-30 basketball recruit Zach Brown was arrested on robbery charges in Miami on Saturday night, according to a police record.
Brown, a 7'1" center from the Miami area, was booked on charges of armed robbery, robbery by sudden snatching and credit card fraud.
After committing to UConn in January, Brown decommitted from the school earlier in May. He currently has scholarship offers from Florida, Georgia, Miami, North Carolina and several other schools.
Brown is ranked No. 30 in the class of 2017, No. 9 at center, and No. 1 in the state of Florida by Scout.com.

MIF took this kid to Vegas to replace Negron who is playing with Puerto Rico. Quite a game for a guy nobody has heard of. And from Manteno, IL of all places. Not exactly a high school basketball powerhouse. Not on our radar but this clip has a lot of Justin Smith too, and although we may not be on his radar, he still hasn't said no to us. This video is from the big comeback almost-win for MIF against MOKAN Elite late last night.
The Mac Irvin Fire headed down to Vegas to play in the Big Foot/CP3 tournament. Familiar faces like Justin Smith and Ayo Dosunmu did their thing, but newly acquired Logan Windeler WENT OFF! A lot more highlights to come!

Hah! Of course Henricksen knew all about him.

But a couple of other prospects are opening eyes: Logan Windeler of Manteno and Vashawn Sims of Rich East.
Sims is a talented 6-1 sophomore with a bunch of upside as he begins to harness his game while still being wildly effective with his attacking style.
Then there is Windeler, one of the more intriguing prospects in the state. It’s not as if a ton of people have seen Manteno basketball, a town 15 or so minutes north of Kankakee. Thus every opportunity to showcase himself on a bigger stage is a plus.
He’s a 6-8 player full of potential and all the elements to become your prototype 4-man. He plays with bounce off the floor and an ability to step out and knock down a three-pointer. With that combination, and at his size, Windeler has skyrocketed up the Hoops Report player rankings this spring.
He missed the majority of his junior season after suffering a hockey injury, which followed a promising summer of play in 2015. Now he’s poised to open eyes with his size, mobility and skill

FW-ever-modicum-IW, Jerry Meyer & Mark Miller changed their CB's for Terrence Lewis yesterday to Marquette. I believe both had Iowa St. previously.

Speak about getting in early on recruits. Marquette just offered Lewis on Monday, July 19th. :)
Hope some of you are not disappointed but the Illini train left Lewis at the station shortly after his UV back in June. Not room for everybody on board.:thumb:
