Rocked Kershaw for 5 runs...made it through 7 innings...I don't think even Bartman can mess this up... A few more runs just in case though.

I texted my brother before the game and told him Hendricks was going to be a stud tonight. I just felt he was going to shut the Dodgers down seeing them for the second time in 5 days.

But two hits in 7 1/3?!?!? He was an mf'in wizard tonight!

I'm honestly having a hard time mentally digensting this. The Cubs are in the World Series! Yes!!!

This was a quintessential Cubs win: excellent pitching, timely hitting, HRs, really good defense. Can't wait for the next four. I have two seats to Saturday's game (Game 4) but gave them to a friend (just bought a house so no more trips to Chicago until Christmas). Hope he has a great time.

I'm just glad that next week's Illini game is at 11AM (how many times has anyone here said that?) so I can make it home in time for Game 4.

Great job by the whole Cubs' organization from Ricketts and Hoyer all the way down to the players and coaches. Seeing Billy Williams in the clubhouse celebrating with the players was a heart warming moment.

Not to over-read the tea leaves, but it's really sounding like Schwarber has a strong chance to be on the World Series roster.

For the sake of discussion, if they decide to add him, who do you feel he would replace? Zastryzny? Coghlan?

Thanks, it's good to be back. Was a belated 50th birthday present. He asked me to keep him in mind for tickets and I was able to accommodate so I just gave them to him. I'm sure he'll have an awesome time.
