I'd go small and athletic. Their bigs are just too skilled. Let me see LB, DJW, KN, MH, and TJL. Mix in JCL, TA, and AJ. We can't adjust and play big with, we need to go small and athletic and let them chase us around. Plus LB, KN, and MH are willing rebounders.

If we can't play any help defense it will be no use. Your little guys need to be able to swarm intelligently and cause chaos.

The lack of accountability our staff has maintained with respect to shot selection and TO's really hurts us. There's no reason we should see Malcolm Hill (not to pick on him, JCL does this even more) come down when you're trying to chip into a lead and take a 3 off the dribble early in the clock.

How Purdue only has 3 fouls is beyond my comprehension. Swanigan stuck out his hip on that screen and we get called for a trip.

Defense is, plain and simple, about effort. Any B1G athlete should be able to play defense.

That is very true, but when you have to adjust your whole game plan to play their style, see Thorne getting some tick, you will lose. At some point, you have to make your opponent adjust to you and Purdue hasn't had to. We make it too easy.

Go look at our rankings on kenpom.com from 2002 to 2006. We used to be s top 10-15 program nationally.seems like forever ago. Sad state of affairs.
