Yeah, not sure we've ever recruited a player that hadn't played at a US high school. At least not in modern times.
Ibby Djimde had only been in the US for a couple of years when he arrived in Champaign.
He was never on scholarship was he? Good call on him anyway.
With Bridges returning I think it is highly unlikely that Bowen goes to MSU now. My guess is either Arizona or Creighton, but he is supposedly interested in listening to other schools who aren't on his final list.
Class rankings are as utterly meaningless now as they were when we were near the top.

Purdue? I'm not going to waste time looking it up but I'd bet they're ahead of us as often as not.
Cam Johnson, Bragg, Smith would be ideal. Three really good players and all would help balance the class.
I would put it above 50% that we don't get any of those guys.

Western kentucky has a top 5 recruit that's pushing their rankings very high.
You're guessing like most of us. Obviously taking the field every time is the smart bet. I've said it on about half my posts but Smith is the guy i would be shocked to see go elsewhere.

Nothing wrong with that. Point guard is the most important position there is.Are we going to start 5 PGS??
Truth is you won't get Moore and Smith. I think they would be an either or situation. Having said that you recruit both. I think Smith is the number one option but you have to pursue all leads or you could end up with no one. I am not a huge fan of transfers but I will take talent wherever you can find it right now.
:thumb: I just think its funny that we struggled to find PG's for years and now we might have 3 or 4 guys capable of playing PG on roster.

I get what you're saying but the inability to recruit a serviceable PG for 5 years does this to the brain.
I was really young at the time so i don't remember but did Damir Krupalija play HS ball in USA??
