We gave Ayo all we could on his visit. I'm sure he has a decision to make, we all want him here. Looking at it from what I have seen , :illinois: is looking good.

Nolley decision for us was last week, no call to staff we know of, so time to move on.

THT has had unpredictable recruitment, he posts or announces a OV, awesome, not holding my breath.

All pieces of the puzzle might be coming together, and might have clearer picture, just way we wanted from the start.

And sorry Cash, when you open the door, make sure you know where it's going.

I guess taking the uncertainty out of recruiting is taking the excitement out of it. I wouldn’t put it out there like this if I wasn’t 100% confident he was ours because you guys destroy people that speak too soon.

Were you the one who told us this summer that AYO and THT had already decided and were coming to UI?

And what format is he going to use? He's a 5-star. Formal announcement with hats? He might just be a little too humble for that.

Cash has posted a lot of good info. He has posted stuff that I’ve heard right around the same time I heard it. He’s posted stuff before I’ve heard it that I eventually heard. He posts things he actually hears. He’s not guessing and he’s not trolling anyone. He has connections, sometimes people get fed bad info. You just have to be selective of who you believe and what situations you believe them in. It’s good to hear things from more than one place too. Some sources have better info on certain kids than others. And those others have better info on the other targets. A lot of times there are several different stories regarding one kid coming from several different places. Can be very convoluted. You have to get an understanding on when you can or cannot be confident in the info.

why? who cares...just enjoy it and process it how you will. why get upset b/c of anything on this board?

I was. I spoke too soon. Definitely did NOT see what happened coming. There was definitely one situation that changed all of that. It also didn’t help that once THT went to a different team his recruitment took off. Some of THTs people don’t believe Ayo is better than him and don’t want him to be overshadowed. Which I don’t blame them, the kids a stud. He wouldn’t be in anyone’s shadow. They would thrive together. I just don’t think the certain someone wants him to be stuck in that situation for four years in case that happens again. But hey, I’m standing by my Ayo word.

I remember awhile back you said THT wasn't coming here. You still think that or are things looking better with him?

I’ve heard some conflicting info on him. But I have a feeling that someone very influential in his recruitment doesn’t want him playing with Ayo. I don’t think he has a problem with it though. If he makes it to campus though and it’s his last visit then that’s give me more hope than I have now. They are definitely assessing all situations.

I loved what Nolley brought to the table, but I was a little concerned about his ego.

THT brings more to the table. Let's hope Ayo commits this week and then instantly calls Talen and says let's do this together Chitowns finest.
