#Illini ‘18 bball Ayo Dosunmu also said. I was totally shocked to see a packed gym just to watch me put up shots. THATS LOVE!

#Illini bball rec ‘18 Ayo Dosunmu also said: That was probably one of the most humbling experiences.

#Illini ‘18 bball rec Ayo Dosunmu told me: I really appreciated the fans that came out to watch me work out Saturday morning.

Well that can't be right. Posters on this board seemed pretty convinced those fans at Ubben were creepy and/or that the weak fan showing at the football game would kill us.

I'd love to see a class next year of Liddell, Okoro, and Whitney

me too, that has been the class I wanted for a good while now, Getting AYO can only help with having that happen, and if some how we get THT can only increase the chance

they would be perceft fits for who will be gone as well, Okoro/Finke EJ/Black Whitney/AJ be some sweet replacements

Anyone go over and stalk the WF board? All they've really got today is saying how Ayo has to go their because the average Rivals rank of their current roster and commits is higher than Illinois' average rivals ranking. And that Manning isn't "involved or on the periphery of an FBI investigation".

:illinois:

Well the recruiting class they have is nice but we all know that rankings don’t win games.

And realistically - means it will be a younger team when he gets there and Illinois isn’t losing anyone but Alstork.

So advantage Illinois. :)

They spend more time talking about what we're talking about than their own conversations - sad. I hope this comment doesn't throw them into an infinite loop.

Cash has posted a lot of good info. He has posted stuff that I’ve heard right around the same time I heard it. He’s posted stuff before I’ve heard it that I eventually heard. He posts things he actually hears. He’s not guessing and he’s not trolling anyone. He has connections, sometimes people get fed bad info. You just have to be selective of who you believe and what situations you believe them in. It’s good to hear things from more than one place too. Some sources have better info on certain kids than others. And those others have better info on the other targets. A lot of times there are several different stories regarding one kid coming from several different places. Can be very convoluted. You have to get an understanding on when you can or cannot be confident in the info.

My vote is with both of you. Honestly it is the only reason I read the recruiting board. :thumb:

Would I get insider status if I said Ayo is coming to Illinois and then put :illinois: behind it?

My favorite part of what I read on the wake board was, Illinois is acting like Ayo is a savior, he's only a borderline All-American. Ha.

First off, I've never seen anyone call him a savior. Second, yah shouldn't get too excited about local 5 star talent.

What I love the most from this weekend (well one of the many), was Ayo taking the time to take pictures with young fans AND take the time to acknowledge and thank them. In one photo, he even references a child's birthday... talk about being humble, and actually listening to the fans.

This, this is what tells us is he's a great person... I'm even more excited thinking that he might choose our Illini, to get this kind of individual to our university.

Definitely seen people call him a savior or something similar to it. But I believe he can be so I'm with it!

It's ok, they just wanted him (like we do) and are trying to lessen the sting if he commits here. There is no such thing as a one player savior, we should all know that. I think that we all logically see Ayo as a key cog to help push us over the top when combined with our 3 headed freshman combo guard monster and the rest of our pieces that fit together quite nicely. He definitely is a great player and one that any program would be absolutely stoked to land.

You never know. For some reason the number of Nobel Peace Prizes Illinois' students/faculty have won seems to come up way more often in the recruiting thread than one would think.

Is anyone listening to Werner show right now? I’m curious if Piper had anything interesting to say

nothing really earth shattering, he thinks the Illini will get him, but till they do anything could happen

gave them a 9 out of 10 chance
