Most convincing explanation I’ve heard: Finke matured early and then didn’t develop. It happens to a lot of people who are highly ranked early on. Blaming decisions he made or where he played seems misplaced.

That explanation sounds familiar :thumb:

Another offer out, looks like he plays in Connecticut and has offers from UMass and San Jose State

Illinois has offered 2018 6-6 G Luis Rodriguez @Lurodgotgame after his 27p 17r 7a 4s performance in @Power5ConfNE play.

Love that the staff is working hard to find late raisers in the class. The start of the HS season will be big. Given the spot we're in, we need to jump on these kids early with an offer.

Rodriquez graduated last year from Westchester High in LA and is going to Woodstock Academy as a 5th year prep. Sort of like Javon Pickett.:D

All signs point to no....

Seriously does anyone think BU was doing more than keeping tabs on young Finke? He almost certainly wasn't an active target at this point. Unfortunate based on the early promise TF showed but seems to be the case with most of the high majors that were interested in him previously.

Actually, not too impressed with his recruiting video they put together. Looks like a very low release on his 3-pointer as well.

I was fairly impressed myself, looks like he can jump, play D, dribble, get to the basket, if he can make FT's i'm sold. I am not worried about us getting guys who can jack up 3's

Anytime this coaching staff offers a kid, I trust they know what there doing. Seems like we have a lot of bloggers that should be coaching power 5 schools.

Looks like the staff is looking for a shooter or a good athlete at wing. Fills a need considering we're using smaller "combo" guards on the wing this season.

We could use an athletic wing who can finish at the rim, block shots, and rebound. Bryant seems to fit the bill. I'm on board.
