Absolutely and I'll wager he'll make us proud.
AJ 's shot comes off low, where Griffin has a higher release and trajectory, so easier to get off. I think he'll contribute next year.

Corey Evans tweeted about 4hours ago that Shaka, Martin and Illini assistant were "expected". Piper was there but no mention of Walker so maybe the "expected" didn't happen. Somebody with paid subscription might ask him.

Ramey finished with 26 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. He put on a show in front of Missouri coach Cuonzo Martin and Texas skipper Shaka Smart, who were both in to chase the top unsigned senior point guard in the nation. Ramey, who committed to Louisville as a junior only to decommit following the FBI's investigation into the program, has balanced chasing another state championship with keeping an eye open for his collegiate home. It hasn't been easy, even if Ramey makes it appear that way.
“It's a great thing for me. (Having the coaches watch me) shows they believe in me,” Ramey said. “Having them going through a big time in their season with March madness and to have (Smart) fly out to come see me is a huge deal. They know I'm focused on my team right now.”
Getting Ramey would be a big step towards rebirth back in the Illini program....the talent level would be the highest in years and allow us to think about dancing again...
