This is no surprise.
The only question is whether Jontay follows.

I think you guys are talking past each other. You were saying - in aggregate, even being generous (“at best”) Kipper is mediocre. Matt is saying that Kipper at his best is not mediocre, but is actually quite good. Both are true. Kipper at his best was very good. Kipper on the whole was quite mediocre. I agree that it’s optimistic to think that light will flip on consistently for kipper next year. Let’s hope that learns how to play consistent D and rebounds and has occasional games where he goes off.

Hopefully Jones and Hinson are both now in play. Similar skills but I think Hinson could play either forward position for rotational minutes with his strength. I would love to get Feliz.
Maybe this is all just a ploy to get Tyler Underwood more minutes next year.
I just hope BU figures out how to get these players to more rapidly "figure it out". The teaching process needs process improvement. Rolling over your team has consequences. We'll see if BU can install his system with this new team better than he did this year (I am a BU fan btw...no disrespect intended).Current wishlist: Jones/Hinson, Ramey/that Juco PG (strong Antigua connection), grad transfer big, Giorgi.
7 new faces next season??

No choice but to trust Underwood and the process but chances of significant improvement for next year pretty slim. We do not have one big 10 caliber big and any recruits we get this late are doubtful to be able to help next year. Hard to believe the program has fallen to this level
The moves were made for a rebuild.. the only major piece that we lost that could have moved the needle forward was Leron. Everyone else was replaceable and wouldn't be hard to upgrade.
