Does De La Rosa have more than 1 year of eligibility? Only played two years at Kent State as far as I can tell. Looks like he RS at St. Johns so maybe he lost a year sitting out at Kent State, that would mean this is his last year.
This is the kid with the ACL right?
I sincerely hope he has an ACL.

Still one spot left, do we sit on it, hope for Cunningham, etc...
Two, even.
Could be wrong, but I heard rumors that all of our guys actually have ACLs.
If his body responds well, no reason he can't be playing in games in December, possibly earlier. Given the fact that it's already been 3-4 months since his surgery, they probably have a good indication of how things are progressing in the early stages. Certainly worth the risk with spots available.

If not, pretty close to it. Welcome, Adonis!Youngest team in the country?
Not that I know anything about his progress, but I'm more concerned with his ability to stay in shape than with the structural integrity of his knee. You can come back from an ACL tear in an offseason these days. He was listed at 320+ pounds as a freshman, though, so he might be more challenged than some in terms of staying in playing shape.
Article I read said one year of eligibility.
