Hmmmmmm, it seems many are jumping on my bandwagon.......
Maybe I am out of the loop
I actually meant to say "I am definitely out of the loop".Ya think?
Let’s not discount the mental impact of basketball. Playing defense against elite players is much harder than it looks; there are a lot of fundamentals involved, especially from a team defense standpoint.
I’m not saying MS will ever be a lock down ball defender, but the kid was late to the party, received a low amount of coaching, and was used to bullying his competition.
If you’re second guessing mentality at this game you are going to look a step slow. Let it play out before making point blank statements about this kids ability. Nobody needs bulletin board material
Braggin' Rights single game tickets on sale
3rd party sellers last year only had tickets close to over 80 (before taxes) a few weeks before the game. Was going to go down, but decided that was too steep to watch them lose (hindsight though )$60/seat in the upper level? Really?

I AM getting old. There's no way I'd pay $60 for an upper level seat to a college game as much as I love the O&B . . . .OK, maybe I would . . . I paid more than that for upper level seats when we played WKU in Portland in 2009 after flying down from Anchorage. But in my defense, the last time I had seen the beloved was in 1984 . . . .Demand has gone up in the last few years. Season ticket holders on both sides take up almost all of the seats (which is great), so there are limited tickets available to the general public.
So Xavier only beat Evansville by six...
Can anyone recommend any bars or restaurants in Champaign which provide shuttles to State Farm Center for basketball games? Thanks in advance for any information. Go Illini!

Joke, right? FWIW, I'm staunchly in Underwood's corner. He's an excellent coach and I believe he's going to get it done here. That said, our Plan A recruiting has been a long series of whiffs.* It is what it is.

Isn't this a product of covering up for a lack of frontcourt defense and presence in the paint. This was the adjustment we made against MSU last year. Turn up the ball pressure to a crazy high level, because we can't defend you when you put the ball in the paint. If you think the D looks bad now, wait to see how we look if we relax on the ball pressure and let teams run their normal offense.I am starting to question his coaching after the Georgetown game. At some point the team needs to show some sort of defense. Your defensive philosophy cannot be get a turnover or allow a lay up. It gets pretty frustrating when it looks like your team cannot keep anyone in front of them and cannot get past any defenders. Especially true in late game situations which is why the vast majority of close games in his tenure have gone to the other side.
