Glad the scouts on this board didn't sign him 3 months ago.

Versus many other that we have he would not have been worse and possibly better, who knows, liked the kids story and still thinks he a can play high level. Wouldn't be first unknown to make it?

What ever happened to Javon Freeman-Liberty? Wasn't he scheduled for a visit.

Agree we need a PG, but looks like we will recruit a top tier PG in 2020. Probably look for a transfer and a freshmen.

Still would like to se a PG as Dre is definitely gone after next year and heavy chances of Ayo going. Know we are recruiting for 2020 but don't want to end up ala Groce. Good to have a guy learning the system. This guy can shoot but have no idea as to his defense. Know AG can play defense and shot over 50% in HS. Guess I trust that between AG, KN, and TJ that that position is covered for some time so not a need like PF.

PF, wing, and rim defense were our weakest points last year. And we lost our best wing. It’s a no brainer to try and get another. Of course we hope AG and TJ lock that spot down, but BU would be silly to rely on that.

Frazier will still be around in 2020, and I think he could start at PG in 2020 if we miss out on Adam Miller.

(Tomas Woldetensae) ... But with his shot and Ayo and Frazier, ought be able to get him open on some more open look threes, and looks like he can be counted on to make a good %. If not a defensive liability, three yes(s).

He'll still have to be schooled in the classic Illinois 30 second shot clock violation.

In the new video of Ayo and BU, it looks like Woldetensae hanging out with Andres and others in the background. If he does not commit to ILL there's a chance he may end up at Nebraska.

Illini of course.

The recruit has a cast on his shooting arm. A dead give away.
Checked his JUCO game summaries and this is what was said in a late Feb game recap.....'Indian Hills played without Tomas Woldetensae, the scoring leader at 17.3 ppg, who was sidelined with a left-wrist injury.'

Regardless, Would love to have him!

Not sure how staff could have done a proper evaluation on Woldetensae with a cast on his shooting hand. Unusual OV from that standpoint. Local Des Moines writer had a list last week of his interested schools and Nebraska was not on it. Certainly a different list, SIU, Colorado State, Oregon, Maryland, UCF and Illinois.
I doubt if all those school's offers are commitable.
TJ Holyfield with a big OV to TT this weekend. I've got to believe they are the leader.

Holyfield is the only recruit being mentioned that I think has a chance of helping next year. Just hope they have one we are unaware exists. I did think January could help next year but it sounds like that isn't going to happen. That means we need either Samba or Kouma to be a factor or we are back to being undersized much of the game.

Why do you think Texas Tech is the leader?
