12/3 Games

From what I've seen so far... our season could very well be over by mid January...that upper half finish in the B1G is looking less and less likely at this point

I was thinking the exact same thing. The good news is that we're going to have PLENTY of chances for quality wins. That's the bonus of being in a strong conference.

However, I'm not sure I can find 10 wins in conference for us. That's a stretch given what I've seen of us so far.

Under no circumstance can we lose another non conference game. Last night was bad, but not the end of the world. Can't have another one given how soft the remainder of the non conference schedule is.

Well, there you go.
We get rolled by Miami, now UMich gets punked by Lville and the dukies are punking MichSt. at MichSt no less.
So, maybe there is hope for us.
We'll see.

How’d the 3 blind mice miss that goal tending call? Well Boo is one of the refs.

We need to bribe someone to teach our kids to play D on a consistent basis, with some self-pride. Kids need to take it personally.

I'm sure this does not need to be said, but I am going to say it anyway, that I sure hope BU uses these ACC/BIG games to teach his guys that these other BIG teams are definitely vulnerable and can be had at any time if you just show up and put your nose to the grindstone!!!

Here you go. Free of cost too:

PACKLINE DEFENSE :: ULTIMATE GUIDE - Chris Mack, Xavier Basketball (96 pages PDF)

Used Mack’s guide to teach the packline at my previous school. Not my personal cup of tea defensively, but definitely effective.

They used to send out some great coaching stuff when he was Xavier. I haven’t checked to see if he still does it, but I think I saved one that was like 117 pages of their favorite out of bounds plays.

Have not seen a -ve vote so far.

So, .............................who is going to bell our cat?

Bottom line: if we can play D the way L,ville played today, boy, I could die peacefully.
