I am definitely concerned with how lost they looked on defense at times but nice to show some toughness after that rough start to blow out PSU. They really to work on the PnR defense. Miller gluing to his man letting the ballhandler blow by and the bigs not walling up and just leaving the ball to go back to the 3 point line. I was a little confused what the plan was there.

That bald headed ref is turrible... Kinda looked like he was instant on calling something. Refs and replay are ruining the game. How do they look at the for 5 mins and come up with that, when at the same time - they reviewed the call on DMW and nothing...

Reffage in this league is suffering.
Nothing new about that.

Lotta good (composure, Kofi), lotta bad (first five minutes, 2nd half defense)... but the best thing to me was Grandison. I’ve been first in line to question his minutes thus far, but tonight he looked like a legitimate rotation guy on a top big ten team. That would be huge for us.
Grandison was huge in this game - kept alot of balls alive, right place, right time. Hope this is the springboard he needs.

Way to take a punch in the mouth and give it right back and then some
Yep, I hat that coach speak line, but it was true tonight. I also like Ayo doing that as long as no repercussions for future games. Big 10 refs (college refs in general) are just terrible. That was an easy T on Ayo and move on. No punches why the F did we need to wait 15 minutes for that?

The parts they showed on TV (all but first 5 min) they looked good. In those 35 minutes they won by 32.

I didn’t see the first 5, so my only comment on that is that Brad can’t let things get so bad before calling a Timeout... things seemed great after he talked to his guys and got things sorted out.

also, it looks like Grandison stepped up finally, and Hawkins road the bench - this was a lot more like I expected preseason.

Defense is optional it seems

Agreed, just what the Dr. ordered. Looks like he has been skipping out on Fletch, he's in his 2nd year.

Never was worried either. They were hitting some insane low percentage shots at a high clip. It would be impossible to keep up for 40 minutes. I like our resolve.

Also the double tech thing on ayo was stupid. Yeah it didn't impact the game but don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Great to see us storm back! On to this weekend, let’s sweep the week and slide back into a groove!

P.S. I didn’t participate in the Game Thread ... any story on Ayo’s reaction?! I love to see him show Curbelo that he’s got his back, but there definitely seemed to be some in-game history there?
I think from Ayo’s angle it must have looked like Wheeler shoved AC to the floor.

We’re up to 7th in Kenpom. Helps when you win games by double digits and lose by just 2 or 3. We’re favorites in our next 9 as of right now.
